The Scouts and Explorer Scouts headed to Gilwell Park for the Centenary Winter Camp on the first weekend after new year.
Thousands of Scouts from all over the UK descended on this annual event notorious for excellent activities combined with high levels of mud and this year kept up the high standards. This year's camp also marked the first national event in Scouting's centenary year.
A wide range of activities were on offer over the weekend. These included climbing, shooting, high-ropes, quad biking, dodgems and laser quest. The mudslide was also operational for a short time....
Needless to say both the Explorer Scouts and Scouts had a good time as you tell from the photos. The only downside was the amount of mud we transprted back to New Haw!
