The Explorer Scouts headed to Bently Copse for the annual County Explorer Scout Night Challenge. We entered two teams this year into the event - a total of 9 Explorer Scouts.
The event consists of an overnight hike with checkpoints and challenges. This year's route took the Scouts through the Hurtwood and across Pitch Hill challenging their navigation skills along the way. The hike took place during the Lunar eclipse - the full moon gradually being obscured by the earth's shadow before turning red - quite an amazing sight.
